CECA track day at High Plains Raceway

Shelby American Automobile Club

Colorado Region SAAC/COLO

Open Track Road Course Event

High Plains Raceway, Byers, CO

Saturday October 5, 2019

Many of you have enjoyed participating in open track events sponsored by the Colorado Exotic Car Association (CECA) over the past thirty-eight years at various road course tracks around Colorado. Our 39th season will finish with Saturday, October 5, 2019. Our event will be staged at High Plains Raceway, our club-owned and very popular 2.55 mile, closed curcuit race course track with 15 turns and notable elevation changes and most of the comforts of home: running water, showers, bathroom facilities, racing fuel, and paid corner workers to eliminate the need for volunteers and consequent lost track time. The event will again be conducted by the Shelby American Automobile Club, Colorado Region (SAAC/COLO), as the last remaining CECA associate. Although we face some increases in costs, we are holding the entry fee to $210 per car, with no additional charge for extra drivers. We need 38 paid entrants to cover the event costs. Bring your friends – particularly those with performance cars. Our schedule was reduced primarily due to lack of volunteer support to assist in organizing and staging these events. Absent that volunteer support, this may be your last two opportunities to play on wheels at speed with CECA. Thirty-nine years! Come out and play, and hope for #40
